During the evening hours on Thursday, January 24, 2013, the DPLSA was sadly notified of the passing of Investigator Herman Williams. We immediately expressed our heart felt condolences along with keeping the Williams family in our hearts, thoughts and prayers and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as well during the difficult days ahead, thank you! Herman will truly be missed!
The arrangements are as follows:
Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., at the
James H. Coles Funeral Home, located at 13631 Puritan, Detroit, Michigan, 48227.

Sergeant Walter Clement will retire after thirty-five (35) years of dedicated service to the Detroit Police Department and the citizens of Detroit. The reception will be on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Firearms Training Unit, located at 8841 Spinoza Dr. Please come and join us in celebrating his accomplishments and contributions to the Detroit Police Department.
