FUNERAL INFORMATION FOR CORPORAL BRYANT LAVANT
On Monday, November 18, 2019, Detroit Police Corporal Bryant Lavant, a (24) twenty-four year veteran, succumbed to death due to unforseen circumstances while off duty. Corporal Lavant joined the police department on January 17, 1995. During his police career he was assigned to the 12th Precinct, Headquarters Bureau, Assistant Chief’s Office, Chief of Police Staff, Traffic Enforcement Unit, 2nd Precinct, Downtown Services Motor Unit, and Downtown Services/Special Events.

UNIFORM OF THE DAY:
Department Executives and all rank and file members shall wear department issued Long Sleeve Class A uniforms with black tie and garrison hat. NO BASEBALL CAPS.
PARKING Marked scout cars will park on W. 7 Mile between Berg and Telegraph.
Unmarked vehicles will park in the Rogell Golf Course parking lot at the southeast corner of W. 7 Mile
VIP and Dignitaries will park in the church parking lot, south of the overhang.
FORMATION: Formation will begin at 9:30 A.M.
