ANNUAL TRANSFER CONTINUATION PERIOD

Pursuant to 401.2 – 3.1 of the Police Manual, all requests for transfer will automatically expire on October 1st of each year. Members wishing to continue his/her requests must use the forms and procedures followed with their initial transfer request, including re-obtaining all endorsements.

Transfer continuations for DPOA members will be accepted from August 15th until September 30th and for DPLSA members from September 1st until September 30th.

Members may continue no more than one Transfer Request to either entity lists (seniority or blue slip) at the same time (e.g. continue one (1) transfer request to the 5th Precinct and one (1) transfer request to Vice).
