Detroit Police Payroll Audit For All Sworn Members{0}
Members,
We were just informed that an internal audit was conducted by Police Payroll and it was determined that some sworn members in the department were and/or have been overpaid an incorrect wage rate. A lot of these incorrect wage rates appear to have began in the Police Officer classification and carried over to the ranks of the DPLSA through recent promotions.
We have been informed that a letter to all affected members will be sent out shortly to make the necessary adjustments as well as a Department Administrative Message will be issued.
We have been informed that it is an extremely small numbers of members affected but regardless we will still keep you informed.
