2019 LIEUTENANT, SERGEANT & DETECTIVE – PRELIMINARY WRITTEN EXAMINATION RESULTS AND APPEAL PERIOD
The preliminary written examination results for the Lieutenant, Sergeant and Detective promotional examinations will be sent to the email address on your application beginning Wednesday, July 24, 2019.
Candidates may review their examination and/or file appeals beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019 through Saturday, August 3, 2019. The hours of the review will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Tuesday-Friday) and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Candidates must use their own time for the review. All reviews will be limited to 1 ½ hours to allow all interested candidates the opportunity for review.
Reviews will be held at the following locations:
Tuesday, July 30, 2019 through Friday, August 2, 2019 – DPD Training Academy, 6050 Linwood
(8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday, August 3, 2019 – Detroit Public Safety Headquarters, Michigan Room
(9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
Candidates must produce their DPD Identification Card and Michigan Driver’s License in order to review their examination.
The Oral Interview will be held for selected candidates in September 2019. The Oral Interview will be administered no earlier than the week of September 16, 2019. Detailed information about the Oral Interview is forthcoming.
