On Friday, November 9, the DPLSA was notified that the City Of Detroit Medical, Optical and Dental Open Enrollment materials will be mailed out the week of November 19, 2012. The Open Enrollment Materials will include the start and ending dates for enrollment, health care plan changes, rates along with vendor informational meetings.

After several attempts by the DPLSA the city informed us that they still do not know the exact dates that the Open Enrollment Period will start and end. We are staying on top of the important matter and will inform you of the dates once we receive them, mean while please watch your mail for the materials.

We understand that many of our members have expressed a desire to make changes to their health care coverage and we will ensure that each and every member is afforded ample opportunity to do so!
