10^TH ANNUAL CHAPLAIN CORPS SPRING GOSPEL

The Detroit Police Chaplain Corps will present its 10^th Annual Spring Gospel Concert “Our Hearts Sing,” at St. John the Great Baptist Church, located at 16101 Schaefer, on Friday, April 19, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. (doors will open at 5:00 p.m.)

Performers will sing songs to inspire the hearts of those in attendance. The concert’s admission is free, but donations will be accepted and will go towards the Detroit Police Department’s 40th Annual Memorial Service and Breakfast, scheduled forFriday, May 3, 2013.

The Detroit Police Chaplain Corps was established in 1973, with the goal of improving Police-Community relations in the city of Detroit.  They currently have 45 certified members belonging to churches of all denominations.
